Januaries Muthiani Mumo
Januaries Mutiani Mumo began serving humanity at the age of 15, when he started seeing visions and communicating with beings he calls “angels.” He is an Akamba of the Bondi tribe in Kenya, commonly known as the Kikamba. Kikamba refers to people who support others’ health through their prophetic abilities and perform healing through out-of-body experiences. Mr. Mumo also guides others who, like him, seek wisdom. The Akamba worldview is based on the belief that spirituality is deeply rooted in daily life. Their religious perspective holds that all actions harmonize the rhythms of the spiritual and material realms within the space between the cosmos and time. In 2024, in recognition of his contributions, Mr. Mumo was appointed a Gatekeeper at the “Wise Keepers Conference” on ancestral wisdom held in Tiwanaku–Abya Yara.
